New Record for the Spring! More Than €700K Prize Pool
The enthusiasm from the players has been evident all week long whether in the Grand Event or the highly-attended side events.
A new Malta Poker Festival record has been shattered thanks to the amazing players and the organization by Malta Poker Festival founder Ivonne Montealegre, UDSO founder Alex Henry, and the many hard workers at Ludos Academy and Portomaso Casino.
For the first time, the prize pool in a Spring version of the Malta Poker Festival, the prize pool grew past €700,000 thanks to 1,460 entries including 162 last-second entries during this morning’s Day 1f to create a €700,800 prize pool for more than double the €300,000 guarantee.
Our next update will be when Day 1f is in the money. We will then share the chip counts of this along with the seat draw for Day 2 before the start of action at 5 p.m.
