Eichner checked, and Mercier led out with a 475,000 bet. Eichner responded with a raise to 1.4 million, only for Mercier to come back with an enormous re-raise to 4.4 million. Eichner made the call.
The turn brought the 2♦, and Eichner checked again. Mercier followed up with another aggressive bet of 5.4 million. Eichner then moved all-in for 9.5 million, and Mercier snap-called.
