LIPS Costa Rica Women’s Championship: A Historic Poker Event
Costa Rica Partners is excited to announce a collaboration with LIPS (Ladies International Poker Series) to bring you the inaugural LIPS Costa Rica Women Championship! This event marks a significant milestone as the first-ever LIPS women’s poker championship in Costa Rica, held during the renowned Costa Rica Poker Festival.

This exciting tournament will be hosted by the celebrated poker player Christina Read, adding a touch of prestige to this landmark event.
Tournament Structure:
- Buy-In: $220 + $30 (with $220 contributing to the prize pool)
- Starting Chips: 25,000 chips
- Blind Levels: 30-minute intervals

- Breaks: 15 minutes after the first break, followed by 10-minute breaks after every four levels.
- Late Registration: Available until the start of Level 8. Players who are eliminated during this period can re-enter.
Association and Atmosphere:
This tournament is closely tied with the Women’s Poker Association (WPA), and we anticipate a strong showing of WPA members who will enjoy not just the thrill of competition but also the beauty and hospitality of Costa Rica.
