PACUARE RIVER WHITE-WATER RAFTING TOUR
Pacuare River is world famous for its sheer beauty. A true river gorge, it is flanked by steep, green walls. Here you enjoy the feeling of total isolation from urban life and the realness of being connected with nature. You see waterfalls cascade into the river from both sides as colorful, tropical birds fly right over your head.
The first 4 miles consist of fun class II-III rapids which is a perfect time to test your new river skills and gain confidence in your team. Here you can find pockets of secondary growth forest that is extremely beautiful. After about 40 minutes we will enter the famous Pacuare River Gorge, which is 5 miles of some of the best white-water Costa Rica has to offer.
After the gorge the river opens to a 5 mile stretch on the Valle del Pacuare, where the river has a different character. It is wide open, which gives you the opportunity to rest a bit and take the opportunity to do some wildlife spotting.
You will finish in a private Exploration Center where you can take a shower, change your cloths, and enjoy the gardens and terrace while having a beer before taking the transportation back to your hotel.
What to wear/bring: Light shoes that will stay on, swimsuit, shorts, nylon shirt, sunscreen, water bottle, change of clothes, towel, insect repellent, and a credit card to buy photos, souvenirs or drinks.

TORTUGA ISLAND TOUR
Spend the day in a dream island located in the Gulf of Nicoya, Tortuga Island is maintained as a protected forest surrounded by turquoise waters, optimal for swimming.
What to wear/bring: Towel, sunscreen, swimsuit, comfortable walking shoes, sandals, insect repellent and a credit card or cash for any additional service not included on tour.
Inclusions: Round trip land and boat transportation, box breakfast, tropical fruits, lunch served at the beach, beach chair.
JACO ZIPLINE TOUR
This tour can be combined with horseback riding Tour, ATV tour or Chocolate Experience Tour
Embark on an exhilarating adventure through the lush Costa Rican rainforest gliding from platform to platform along a series of sturdy cables surrounded by vibrant tropical rainforests, spectacular views of Herradura Bay and Nicoya Gulf. You might get to see scarlet macaws, chestnut mandible toucans, and whiteface monkeys in their natural environment.
The adventure starts with a 15-minute ride aboard a specially designed tractor. Once on the top of the mountain, you will descend to the bottom via a series of zip lines, including 12 platforms and 10 cables with a total cable distance of 3.5 kilometers, among them the longest cable in the area (2400 ft.).
What to wear/bring: comfortable clothes, sunscreen, tennis shoes, sunglasses, cameras and change of clothes are optional, credit card or cash for any additional service not included on tour.

Horseback Riding Tour: As you saddle up on your gentle steed, the journey unfolds along well-maintained trails, revealing the rich biodiversity of the rainforest. The guides share captivating insights into the flora and fauna discovering a private and exclusive 80-acre property with natural swimming pools where you will have some time to relax and enjoy the water and beautiful surroundings. Important: Long pants are requested for this adventure.
ATV Tour: Traverse rugged trails, winding through lush forests and scenic terrain, as you navigate the dynamic terrain on your all-terrain vehicle. Feel the rush of the wind against your face as you discover hidden gems and witness the power and beauty of nature at stunning waterfalls and natural pools along the way. If Time and trail conditions allowing, you can take a quick swim in a private waterfalls and natural swimming pool.
Chocolate Experience Tour: Embark on a delectable journey through the sweet and savory world of chocolate. This immersive experience takes you from the cacao tree to the finished product, offering insights into the fascinating process of chocolate production. This experience is not only a treat for the taste buds but also an exploration of the cultural and historical significance of chocolate in the region.
POAS VOLCANO NATIONAL PARK & DOKA COFFEE PLANTATION TOUR
The adventure begins traveling to Poás Volcano National Park, where there is a noticeable change in temperature and exuberant vegetation of the cloud forest. Poás Volcano is an active 2,708-metre (8,885 ft) stratovolcano. The crater of the volcano is over a mile across and 1050 feet deep. It has erupted 40 times since 1828, including April 2017.
At the Volcano you will have time to enjoy the impressive main crater with its sulfur fumaroles, and hike on a trail to the beautiful Botos Lagoon as you learn about the different ecosystems in the park.
After visiting the volcano, you will be taken to Doka Coffee Estate to an actual coffee plantation where you will learn the ancient techniques used by the experts to produce some of the best coffee in Costa Rica and around the world. The careful process involved in the cultivation, harvesting and roasting of the Golden Bean will then be illustrated, very hands-on, and then we will savor the delectable product.
After the coffee experience you will visit a Costa Rican Typical Restaurant to enjoy lunch.
What to wear/bring: comfortable clothes, sunscreen, walking shoes, sunglasses, light jacket and raincoat are recommended, camera and/or binoculars are optional, credit card or cash for any additional service not included on tour.
Inclusions: Round trip transportation, bilingual naturalistic guide, National Park Fee and lunch.
SURF LESSONS AT CENTRAL PACIFIC
This morning you will be picked up at your hotel to travel to the Central Pacif Coast (2 hours transfer). There, a professional surfer will give you 1 hour surfing master class to enjoy the morning surfing on the Pacific Ocean. Lunch is included.
What to wear/bring: Towel, sunscreen, swimsuit, comfortable walking shoes, sandals, insect repellent and a credit card or cash for any additional service not included on tour.

GOLF IN SAN JOSE
Valle del Sol, located in Costa Rica, is a premier destination for golf enthusiasts. This golf course is nestled in the picturesque Santa Ana Valley, just a short drive from your hotel.
Valle del Sol features an 18-hole, par-72 championship golf course designed to challenge players of all skill levels. The course is surrounded by stunning natural landscapes, including lakes, streams, and lush greenery, providing a serene and beautiful backdrop for a round of golf.
Dress Code: Collared shirts or mock neck are required, tennis shoes are allowed, shorts must be “Bermuda length”, no metal spikes.
Inappropriate Attire: Tank tops, t-Shirts, denim and cut-off shorts.
