Photos From the €250 Deepstack by HiBet hosted by Eros Nastasi

The €250 Deepstack by HiBet hosted by Eros Nastasi attracted 192 entries thus far with late registration still open. While Nastasi was unable to play in his signature event due to a deep run in the Grand Event, the rest of the HiBet team is in full force. Check out some of the photos below from the Deepstack.

Penultimate Break

Players are on their second to last short break of Day 2. Blinds will increase to 25,000/50,000 with a 50,000 big blind ante before moving along to 30,000/60,000 with a 60,000 big blind ante.

There will be another break after these two blind levels. After that, the 40,000/80,000 (80,000) and the 50,000/100,000 (100,000) blind levels will be played out. Players surviving these blind levels will bag up their stacks into Monday’s final day.

Flotre Sends Two Players Out With Cowboys

Level 23: 20,000/40,000 (40,000)
Entries: 58/1,460

A massive hand broke out on Table 5 with both local hero Mark Vella and Kelly Kellner hearing the roar from Roar Flotre.

Vella jammed from under the gun for 470,000. Flotre three-bet shoved from one seat over for 1.3 million and Kellner called off from a couple of seats over with a bit less.

Mark Vella: A2
Kelly Kellner: 99
Roar Flotre: KK

Flotre’s cowboys were good with all the board cards coming out with a number on them to win a huge pot just before the break.

Mark Attard is now the last Maltese player remaining in the Grand Event after all-around nice guy Vella, who plays most major events on the island, hit the rail.

Roar Flotre – 2.75 million
Kelly Kellner – 0
Mark Vella – 0

Only One Albrigtsen Remains

Level 23: 20,000/40,000 (40,000)
Entries: 66/1,460

Evy Albrigtsen was all-in a few times today but never really got much going. Unfortunately, gas ran out of the tank and she is now on the rail leaving just one Albrigtsen in the field with her husband Ronny Albrigtsen with an impressive stack of 1,330,000.

Evy jammed from the cutoff before Matthew Vicarage came in over the top for about 1.5 million from the button. Martin Ehrler and Thomas Lange folded from the blinds and the hands were tabled.

Evy Albrigtsen: AQ
Matthew Vicarage: AK

Albrigtsen had tons of hope after her queen paired up on the Q67 flop. However, fate was not on her side as Vicarage improved to a better pair on the K turn. The 6 river completed the board to end Albrigtsen’s deep run.

Matthew Vicarage – 1.8 million
Ronny Albrigtsen – 1.3 million
Evy Albrigtsen – 0
