Three Way All-In On The Flop!
Level 8: 600/1200 (1200)
Entries: 223/319
Four players went to the flop after Claudio Malandri opened from the cutoff for 3,000 and was called by Dominic Owen, Seamus Doherty, and Michael Van De Poel. The action picked up fast on the 4♣6♦6♥ flop. After the blinds were checked, Malandri bet 4,000, followed by a bold all-in shove of 32,600 from Owen. Doherty made an instant call, the big blind folded, and after some thought, Malandri also committed his remaining 45,000.
The showdown revealed some monster hands and quite a surprise:
- Dominic Owen: A♠A♦ (pocket rockets)
- Claudio Malandri: J♣J♦ (pair of jacks)
- Seamus Doherty: 6♣7♥ (flopped trips)
The turn 8♣ and river K♦ changed nothing, and Doherty scooped the pot with his flopped trips. A tough beat for Owens’s aces, as Doherty capitalized on the lack of a 3-bet and let his sixes work their magic!
Claudio Malandri: 13,000
Dominic Owen: 10,000
Seamus Doherty: 95,000

Victory Four-sure
Level 7: 500/1000 (1000)
Entries: 227/318
With over 50,000 already in the middle, action reached the river in a heads-up battle between Elia Salerno in the big blind and Stig Rune Bjornili on the button. The board read 10♦4♣9♣5♥Q♠, and Salerno fired a bold bet of 42,100, leaving Bjornili to make a tough decision with around 65,000 behind.
After some thought, Bjornili made the call, and Salerno quickly turned over 4♠4♦ for a set of fours, confident in his hand. His read was spot on, as Bjornili mucked, securing the pot for Salerno.
A well-played river from Salerno (pictured below), adds a sizeable boost to his stack!
Elia Salerno: 210,000
Stig Bjornili: 23,000

Packed Tables and Overflowing Action at MPF!
The Malta Poker Festival is buzzing with excitement as the tables filled to capacity. The Bounty Hunter Days event has reached maximum registration, and due to the high turnout, we’ll be postponing the satellite by three hours. To keep the action flowing, we’ve also set a soft cap on 100 entries for the Halloween Tournament to accommodate the incredible interest.
With every table filled and the festival energy at an all-time high, it’s safe to say MPF has never been busier. Thanks to everyone for making this an unforgettable event, and good luck to all at the tables!
