Costa Rica is considered one of the safest countries in Central America, but like any destination, it requires a level of caution and awareness. Costa Rica is safe for tourists who use common sense and take basic precautions. The country’s welcoming locals, natural beauty, and eco-tourism make it a top destination. Stay aware of your surroundings, follow local advice, and enjoy your trip!
Costa Rica is a biodiversity hotspot and a premier destination for eco-tourism, offering a wide range of experiences for every type of traveler. Costa Rica truly has something for everyone, from adrenaline-pumping adventures to serene retreats in nature. Whether you’re an eco-tourist, a thrill-seeker, or someone looking to relax, Costa Rica delivers an unforgettable experience. Pura Vida! 🌴
Costa Rica’s official currency is the Costa Rican Colón (CRC). While the colón is the official currency, US dollars are widely accepted, especially in tourist-heavy areas. However, it is advisable to have some colones for local businesses and smaller vendors. ATMs are widely available, and credit cards are accepted in most urban areas and tourist locations.
The Grand Casino Escazú, located in Escazú, Costa Rica, primarily uses the local currency, the Costa Rican Colón (CRC), for transactions. However, U.S. Dollars (USD) are also widely accepted in most casinos, including this one, given Costa Rica’s popularity with international visitors. If you plan to visit, it’s a good idea to carry both currencies, as either may be used depending on the specific game, service, or transaction. For gambling purposes, you will typically exchange your cash (Colones or Dollars) for chips at the casino, which are used for games.
Yes, cash games run daily at the casino. The most popular options include No-Limit Texas Hold’em and Pot-Limit Omaha, starting with $1-$2 blinds and higher. Other games, including mixed games, are also available upon request.
Absolutely! . We TOTALLY RECOMMEND IT! Immerse in the beauty of Costa Rica!
