Evy Albrigtsen was all-in a few times today but never really got much going. Unfortunately, gas ran out of the tank and she is now on the rail leaving just one Albrigtsen in the field with her husband Ronny Albrigtsen with an impressive stack of 1,330,000.

Evy jammed from the cutoff before Matthew Vicarage came in over the top for about 1.5 million from the button. Martin Ehrler and Thomas Lange folded from the blinds and the hands were tabled.

Albrigtsen had tons of hope after her queen paired up on the Q♥6♣7♥ flop. However, fate was not on her side as Vicarage improved to a better pair on the K♠ turn. The 6♦ river completed the board to end Albrigtsen’s deep run.

Marcus Larsson jammed for 295,000 from middle position. Wilhelmine Connolly three-bet shoved over the top for about 480,000 from the button and the rest of the table folded.

Ashley Harrison opened for a min-raise from middle position before Jiany Lu three-bet shoved for 160,000 from one seat over. Harrison found a call and the cards were tabled.

Lu was ahead and improved to the top two pair on the A♥K♥10♦ flop. However, Lu wasn’t out of the woods yet as Harrison had a flush draw to fade.

The 2♠ turn was safe for Lu, but the 6♥ spiked the river to give Harrison a set.

Lu was the consummate gentleman throughout the entire Grand Event and this was also the case after his unfortunate demise.

“Good game and good luck,” said Lu while fist-bumping Harrison before leaving for the cashier.

Wai Man Kwan three-bet jammed a short-stack from the button and was called by Meijer Rimko who opened from early position.

Kwan didn’t get the miracle he needed to survive with the Q♥6♣4♦9♦J♥ running out on the board.

Meijer was busy looking down so we grabbed his attention for a photo. One of his table mates had a question and Meijer’s response brought a laugh to the table.

“Hold on, let me have my moment,” said Meijer.
